In order to ensure the progress of AACSB (The Association to Advance Collegiate Schools of Business) certification, the School of Management held the first formal video conference with Mentor (certified tutor) in the administration building 612, and conducted discussions on the work completed at the present stage and the arrangements for the next stage on the morning of October 27th, 2021. Hu Bin, dean of School of Management and Li Yuewen, Associate Dean in charge, and teachers from AACSB Certification Office attended the meeting.
In April, 2021, the School of Management passed the AACSB Eligibility Application (EA). In July, 2021, the School of Management got in touch with the certified tutor and started the preparation of the self-assessment report iSER, which entered the important stage of certification. AACSB International Business Certification Alliance attached great importance to the promotion of our school's certification work, fully affirmed the speed of our school's certification, and appointed Lawrence Rose, former dean of the School of Business of California State University, San Bernardino, who is a senior AACSB certification evaluation expert as a certification tutor to guide the development of our school's certification work.
Dean Hu Bin reported on the progress of certification in the past year, and listened carefully to the tutor's opinions on how to continuously promote the development of the college against the new certification standards in the next stage. He also had in-depth communication with Lawrence Rose, the tutor, on the key points and details of the certification promotion plan, curriculum construction, hardware facilities renewal and so on. Tutor Lawrence Rose fully affirmed the phased achievements of AACSB certification of our school in the past, and gave specific suggestions on how to write iSER report. He looked forward to further communications with school leaders, college leaders and related teachers and staff, and hoped we can strengthen guidance and contact with the school, and promoted AACSB certification actively and solidly.
