On June 10th 2023, the 13th Shanghai University University Dragon Boat Race and the first Yangtze River Delta University Invitational Race, sponsored by Shanghai Municipal Education Commission and Shanghai Education International Exchange Association, opened in Fengxian campus of East China University of Science and Technology. The international student dragon boat team of SUES gathered together with the international students from other 31 universities to participate in the dragon boat race. We worked hard and worked together, won the second place in the group competition.
The international student dragon boat team on behalf SUES is a team established just two months ago. The majority of team members are the international students from School of Mangement, while the rest of the team members are the international students from the School of Textile and Clothing, the School of Electronic and Electrical Engineering and the School of Art and Design. Though it is a team with short formation time, few training opportunities and lack of professional experience, the players understand the importance of the teamwork.
