On November 29th, Professor Mingxiang Chen of Washington State University shared and exchanged views on Publishing a Tourism International Journal Paper: The Case of Theoretical Writing at 9:30 a.m. in 908 of the Administration Building. At the meeting, Prof. Chen shared his many years of experience in publishing tourism international journals, focusing on how to choose a topic with concrete examples of logical thinking, and explaining how to write a good opening section of an international journal paper with clear and specific specifications. He also explained how to write a good opening part of an international journal paper with clear and specific specifications. Finally, he explained the latest trend of high-level tourism international journals' requirements for the theoretical part of the paper, demonstrated how to specifically and clearly grasp the theoretical basis and contribution of an international journal paper, and gave possible explanations and theoretical derivations, which are the highest requirements for international journals' publication at the present time. Professor Chen's humorous and interesting way of teaching made writing a dissertation an easy and interesting task, and dissertation writing is just around the corner, and having a keen insight to find a good topic is half of the success. At the end of the meeting, Prof. Chen had a short communication with everyone. Teachers and students were inspired by Prof. Chen's sharing of thesis writing, which stimulated teachers and students to find new directions or solutions to problems in their own research, which was very rewarding.
